Yes, kind of, I was hoping we could talk about business.

And how is that not about you?? Or did you want to talk about someone else’s business?

Well, no.

So, there you go! I want to talk about your business too, and your hopes and dreams.

l like the hopes and dreams bit.

Good, and in case you thought that talking about your hopes and dreams isn’t very spiritual — if you’re talking about that subject you’re talking about me.

How so?

No, you tell me.

Well, maybe if those hopes and dreams came from you?

A huge number of them do, far more than people realise. My plan for humanity is not that you all belong to some nice church. Church is fine for those who like it, but it’s not what you were created for — you were born to live your hopes and dreams!

Ok, well, talking to you about them sure is helpful — it lets me ask your advice, how to achieve them, which ones I should focus on, etc.

Yes, and??

I need plans.

Why plans?

So, I can take the actions most likely to achieve my dreams.

Really? You actually have to do something, it’s not all me??

I’m pretty sure that if we just sat and waited for you to deliver our hopes and dreams, and one guy got treasure and another poverty, that wouldn’t sound like your plan, I think you want us to get amongst it?

Exactly. You have to want your dreams so badly that your thoughts and actions begin to focus on them, so nothing stands between you and achieving them.

Nothing? What if those actions harm others?

Then the dream might not be such a good one, or you might have the plan a bit wrong. Which is why talking with me about your hopes and dreams is such a jolly good idea.
